Hunter Pritchett, Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
My clients often feel overwhelmed by their circumstances and may struggle to navigate their emotions, relationships, or life transitions. My role is to create a safe and empathetic environment where we can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.
Together, we will work on developing coping strategies, improving communication skills, and fostering resilience. The journey is collaborative, as clients bring their unique perspectives, and I guide them toward greater self-awareness and understanding.
The process of therapy can be transformative. Clients often report feeling a renewed sense of hope and clarity after our sessions. It is my privilege to witness their growth and the positive changes they implement in their lives. Ultimately, my goal is to empower clients to take charge of their well-being and navigate their challenges with confidence.

Individual therapy is an opportunity to develop your most significant relationship— the one with yourself. Through this process, I assist clients in cultivating deeper self-awareness while providing guidance and support tailored to their unique journeys. My focus is on fostering self-compassion and understanding, which are essential for creating lasting change.
I utilize an approach that combines a psychodynamic understanding of how our past influences our present, a narrative approach to co-author a new preferred story for clients' lives moving forward, and a toolkit of CBT and DBT skills and strategies for emotional regulation for a lifetime of well-being.

Lasting and fulfilling relationships demand intentional effort and vulnerability from both partners. In a safe and non-judgmental environment, I support couples in exploring the underlying fears, attachment wounds, emotions, and resentments that may be contributing to unhealthy patterns in their relationship.
I help couples enhance their communication and listening skills while working to establish a stronger foundation for intimacy and connection. My approach is grounded in attachment theory and emotionally focused therapy (EFT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and relational strategies.

You or your partner may be experiencing symptoms of Postpartum Depression or Anxiety, which can affect anyone, including Dads (imagine that!?). Are you noticing increased irritability or sudden outbursts? Do you feel withdrawn, lacking motivation, or struggling with concentration? Perhaps you're immersing yourself in work or other activities as a way to cope?
This is very common! Our sessions can help you recognize these symptoms, improve communication with your partner, and guide you toward the healing necessary to regain a sense of balance and control.

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Therapy with me is a co-created process - grounded in direct and down-to earth discussion, respect, humor, gentle challenging, deep understanding, and the belief that meaningful change comes from a combination of a strong therapeutic relationship, insight, awareness, and learning the tools and coping skills to create meaningful change and action. I have helped adult, couple, and adolescent clients overcome the effects of depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, and the stresses of life, relationship, and career transitions, and I meet each client with empathy, curiosity, and attunement, treating you as the individual you are, not as a diagnosis.
As a father, I have a personal interest in supporting new and expecting dads, supporting them to navigate the emotional complexities of parenthood, like struggling with a new identity as a father, the overwhelming responsibilities to your child, partner, and career, and the feelings of confusion, irritability, stress, and depression. I did my clinical training at Antioch Community Therapy Services (ACTS) a zero-cost, community based center and provided individual and group therapy to a diverse population of all backgrounds, sexualities, and genders.
I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, where I focused on psychodynamic, person-centered, post-modern, and a DBT-informed approaches to help clients understand and navigate their relational challenges, depression, anxiety, grief, substance misuse, and crises.
Therapy is a courageous act of self-investment. If you're ready to start this journey, I’d be grateful to walk alongside you.
